Week Nine

Unfortunately with my finances as they are right now my travel expiences need to be limited meaning that I will not be going to many games in the near future. This means that my post will mostly only be my weekly state rankings. Hopefully by the end of the month my games will increase. My rankings are really starting to come into full focus and should be a good chance to see who the real state title contenders are.

Division One
Milwaukee Hamilton dropped a game to city rival Milwaukee Washington and fall from #2 down to #7. Milwaukee King lost to a team from Chicago but, I never pentalize a team for lossing to an out of state opponent. Brookfield Central lost to Waukesha North on a buzzer shot and drop a few spots to 12. Mukwonago is another team that lost to an out of state team losing to Eden Prairie Mn but, don't fall in the rankings. Stevens Point lost their first game of the year to Neenah but, stay at the same spot while Marquette lost to Sussex Hamilton and flip flop with Oshkosh North at the 13 and 15 spots.

Division Two
Lots of changes in D2 but, what else is new. Former #1 Seymour went 0-2 lossing to West De Pere and Little Chute and fall to #8, while West De Pere jumped all the way up to #6. Onalaska barely edge out Lacrosse Central who also lost to Lacrosse Aquinas and finds themselves in the 11 spot. Rice Lake lost to Superior who is on the edge of being ranked in D1 and fall to #7. Whitefish Bay lost to #1 D1 Germantown and drops a spot to 10. Waunakee lost to Madison Lafollette and fall to 14, while Plymouth lost to Randolph and fell out of the rankings and are replaced by Monroe.

Division Three
Marshall dropped a game to Lake Mills and feel to #8 while Lake Mills remains just outside the rankings. Somerset defeated Durand, who lost there first game of the year and fell to 12. Everyone else in the rankings remain undefeated.

Division Four
Southwestern lost to Mineral Point and drop all the way to #11. Shiocton lost to Green Bay NEW Lutheran and drop just behind at 12. Marathon lost to Stratford and drop to 14. Everyone else in the rankings won out.

Division Five
Cassville lost to Black Hawk and drop behind them at #13. North Crawford lost to Westby and fall out of the rankings and are replaced by Faith Christian. Elmwood lost to Elk Mound but, stay at 15 due to the fact that Elk Mound is a ranked D4 team.

As you can see the vast majority of ranked teams continue to win and remain in the rankings. That just further shows that these rankings are getting closer and closer to the true rankings and title contenders.
