Final Sophomore Rankings

Before I begin my rankings I have to say that there is no doubt in my mind that J.P. Tokoto is the top sophomore in the class. I didn't see Tokoto play this year so he's not included but, from what I saw of him as a freshmen, what I've seen in highlights, and from what every ones been saying. The kid as his option of schools from Kansas, North Carolina, Duke, and any of the other elite programs. How many sophomores, let alone a sophomore from Wisconsin, has Roy Williams coming to their games? If Tokoto is #1 then Junior Lomomba is without a doubt #2. Lomomba is slightly behind Tokoto athletically but, he is every improve and his game seems to be improving month by month and if it hadn't of been for the wrist injury he suffered prior to the season may of nearly caught Tokoto. Another player that is emerging in this conversation is Sam Mader who is really coming into his own and is right there behind the top two. After the top three there is a lot of room for debate and it's basically up to your likes and dislikes and who you think has the ability to continue growing.

1. Junior Lomomba 6'4 Madison Memorial- Has a great game in the post where he showcases a variety of moves to score. Has really improved his ball handling skills and has spent a lot more time handling the ball and helping to run the offense. Has the size and build to battle with any upperclassmen, has a nice mid range shot and has really improved his outside three point shooting.
2. Sam Mader 6'7 Appleton East- Really improved his game throughout the year and with his size really possesses a lot of athleticism. Prefers to play on the outside where he can knock down the three and handles the ball very well. Is a very good jumper that blocks shots very well and can rebound very well.
3.Jordan Fouse 6'4 Racine St. Catherines- Just always seems to be in the right place at the right time. Absolutely killed the opposing teams zone defense. Is also a good rebounder.
4.Sean McGann 6'3 Baraboo- Great athlete that can get to the rim and score. Also handles the ball very nicely.
5. Jamar Morris 6'4 Madison Memorial- Jumps out of the gym and absolutely dominates the inside at times. Really has a nice mid range shot and will only get better as they look for him more on the inside.
6.Trevor Krizenesky 5'9 Brillion- Very quick guard that was the leading scorer on a team that made it to state. Handles the ball very well and has a nice step back shot that he has to use because his defender is typically much taller then him.
7. Matt Van Scyoc 6'5 Green Lake- Big man that moves very well and can step out and hit the three point shot. Should have a huge year next year as he will be his teams top guy.
8. Austin Arians 6'6 Madison Edgewood- Moves very well without the ball and moves very well overall for a 6'6 kid. Has a very nice shot from anywhere on the court.
9. Spencer Brink 6'2 Madsion Edgewood- Very nice point guard that runs the team very well. Has a nice shot from mid range out to three point range.
10. Taron Edwards 5'10 Racine Park- Very ugly shot but, never seems to miss. Probably closer to 6'0 or 6'1.
11. Vince Kube 6'2 Lacrosse Logan- Another athletic player that can shoot the mid range jump shot or get to the rim.
12. Sawyer Mosely 5'10 Port Washington- Handles the ball very well and is always looking for his teammates.
13. Rudy Bentley JR 5'7 Madison East- Another guy with great handles that can get anywhere he wants and isn't afraid to go up against bigger defenders.
14. Derrick Williams 5'10 Milwaukee Washington- Has a nice three point shot and is very quick. Handles the ball well and plays tough in your face defense.
15. Antonio Mayfield 6'0 Milwaukee Washington- Another guy that plays very tough defense as well and can hit the three point shot.
16. Demetrius Durley 6'0 Madison East- A guy that will probably be a big time scorer in the future comes off the screen and is ready to shoot and can knock it down.
17. Connor Morovits 6'0 Prairie du Chien- Great three point shooter with unlimited range.
18. Deandre Harris 6'2 Milwaukee Washington
19. Deion Jackson Body 5'8 Shorewood- Is a pretty solid outside shooter and handles the ball fairly well.
20. Brandon Hagenow 5'10 Sussex Hamiliton- Just a solid all around player that doesn't do much wrong and is a pretty good shooters.
21. Reggie Kujak 6'6 Blair Taylor- Big body that rebounds very well and can block shots. Offensive game is lacking right now but, shows some flashes in the post.
22. Ryan Gerritson 6'3 Waupun- Very good three point shooter, rebounds well, and can do alittle bit of anything.
23. Gederrick Williams 6'5 Milwaukee Washington- Athletic big man that rebounds very well and battles on the inside.
24. Cary Thomas 6'2 Racine St Catherines- Great defender, that can do alittle bit of everything on the offensive end. Great competitor.
25. Jared Bosse 6'2 Green Bay NEW Lutheran- Banger on the inside that rebounds very well and can score in the post.

Asa Odegaard 5'11 Poynette

Well one more class of rankings to do with the freshmen and then I may be making the move to softball. Not positive how much I'll keep up with it and if there is even any interest but, will see how it goes.
