Week 8 Rankings

Another week is complete and once again I find myself behind on my posting on games and am doing my team rankings on a Monday night. I'm also behind on a full Saturday of games and a game on Friday. Here are my new rankings

Division One
Oshkosh North lost their first game of the year which was huge as I thought they were the clear cut favorite in D1 but, they probably still are my pick. Being that it was to Kaukauna I only dropped them a spot to two. Eau Claire North lost to Eau Claire Memorial and fall to 14 while Stevens Point lost to Waunakee and drop just one spot to 13. Madison La Follette lost to Sun Prairien and hang on to the 15 spot. Waukesha North lost to Arrowhead and Waukesha West is actually a D2 school taking both teams from the rankings and are replaced by Kettle Moraine and Mukwonago.

Division Two
Monona Grove lost their first game of the year to Stoughton and fell to eight. Mount Horeb dropped a game to DeForest and drop just a spot to 13. Burlington lost to Westosha Central and fall out of the rankings and are replaced by Rice Lake.

Division Three
Dominican dropped a game to The Prairie School and fall to six just ahead of Wisconsin Dells who lost to an Iowa team which as you know I don't factor that into my rankings. Wrightstown lost to Marinette which allowed an undefeated Bloomer team into the rankings.

Division Four
Marathon lost to Assumption which is a good team and fall just to eight. Webster lost to Unity and fall to nine. Prairie school lost to a very good Caledonia team from Minnesota and I won't hold that against them. Melrose Mindoro lost to Neillsville and fall from the rankings replaced by Neillsville. Mineral Point lost to New Glarus to be expected and hang on to rankings at 14. Darlingotn lost to Belleville and fall from the rankings replaced by Wisconsin Heights. Cuba City lost to Platteville a bigger school and stay in the rankings at 15.

Royal lost to Bangor, Columbus Catholic lost to Marathon, and Amherst lost to Valders all tough games so they drop only one spot each. Potosi lost to Lancaster and fall from the rankings replaced by Assumption. Brookwood lost to Royal a ranked team and hang on in the rankings at 15. Wild Rose lost to Pacelli and Almond Bancroft and fall from the rankings and are replaced by Lake Holcombe.
