Division Three Preseason Rankings

In the past D3 has always had the most obvious top 10 teams or so but, this year seems to be very different as many of the top teams were hit hard by graduation and their were some very talented senior  classes last year.

1. Lodi- State runner ups a year ago bring back a pair of talented seniors in 6'4 Jordan Shea and 6'5 John Hatch.

2. Roncalli- Have a very strong tradition and also seem to be near the top of the rankings year in and year out. Bring back four of five starters from last year.

3. Marshall- 6'1 senior Cam Ward is back for his senior year and should be able to carry his team at times.

4. Wrightstown- Bring back three starters from last years 20 win team and have lots of size and height.

5. Brown Deer- Always have a ton of talent and should be battle tested coming out of a tough conference.

6. Peshtigo- Always have a very good record but, benefit from playing small schools in conference. Bring back four starters from a 21 win team a year ago.

7. Kettle Moraine Lutheran- Have four core players from last years team back.

8. Lacrosse Aquinas- State champs lost a lot but, bring back 6'8 senior Parker Weber along with most of their bench.

9. East Troy- State team a year ago and bring back five of their top eight players from a year ago.

10. Poynette- Should have a huge years from a pair of juniors in 6'2 Tanner Bruchs and 6'3 Scott Lenius.

11. Waupun- A Mark Miller pick but, they do have 6'3 junior Mason Domask back who averaged nearly 20 a game last year.

12. Elk Mound- This was a Mark Miller pick.

13. Little Chute- State team a year ago and will hopefully be able to continue the success and 5'10 senior DJ Devalk should have a huge year.

14. Valders- Have three starters back and they will be battle tested coming out of the tough Olympian conference.

15. Nekoosa- Gotta give a team from the South Central a little praise.

As you can see by my post there was a lot of guessing that was done on the rankings so these will probably change quite a bit as the year goes on. Watching a big D3 matchup tomorrow as I take in Marshall vs Poynette.
