Division Three Predictions

I've kind of put my predictions on hold so I'm not sure if I will be able to get all five divisions in before the tournament actually starts so I decided to go with D3 next as it is the deepest division and I have followed the closest. With the division being so deep there are a lot of contenders and not a whole lot of darkhorses.

River Falls Sectional
My Pick
Lacrosse Aquinas- Have by far to most talent with Bronson Koenig, Michael Conway, and company. Have faced the toughest competition and have been playing bigger schools all year long.

Contenders
Barron- Don't know anything about them really but, they are the other #1 seed in the sectional.

Somerset- Have had a very good season and a great record.

Durand- Have lost only one game this year so that says something.

Darkhorses
GET- Were at state a year ago and have the two Wagner brothers leading the way.

Baldwin-Woodville- Started out the season very strong and beat some very solid teams from the Northwest.

Ashwaubenon Sectional
My Pick
Little Chute- Have been just about every ones pick all year long and have a pair of D1 recruits leading them.

Contenders
Brillion- State Champions a year ago and are very talented deep team with lots of balance.

Roncalli- Strong tradition Roncalli shoots the ball as good as any team in the state which allows them to beat anyone in the state.

Wrightstown- Battled Brillion and Roncalli for the conference title and would be no shocked to see them come out on top.

Darkhorses
Peshtigo- Yes they have only lost one game this year but, they aren't even in the coaches rankings and because they play in a D4/D5 conference no one is giving them a shot.

Xavier- Took down Little Chute a year ago and played them extremely tough this year as well.

Middleton Sectional
My Pick
Wisconsin Dells- Has been the number one team nearly the entire season and minus a little set back would of been #1 when the season finished.

Contenders
Lodi- Have only lost two games within the state of Wisconsin, one of which was to WD.

Marshall- State team a year ago and have only lost two games this year and are led by high scorer Cam Ward.

Lake Mills- Battled Lodi to the bitter end in conference and good easily take them down if they meet again.

Darkhorses
There really isn't a darkhorse in this sectional.

Arrowhead Sectional
My Pick
East Troy- Have played an incredibly tough schedule and with three D1 recruits can play with anyone in the state.

Contenders
Oostburg- A conference champion with a very strong rich tradition.

Brown Deer- Have played a very tough schedule against numerous city teams in Southeast Wisconsin and shouldn't feel the pressure.

Looking at my predictions right now the final four should be fairly obvious but, it never ever seems to work out the way that you think it should no matter how obvious it is. I will be very curious to see if the top four teams can actually be the four teams that make it to state.
