Final Team Rankings

Now that the season has come to an end its time for my final team rankings. With seeing so many teams in a short period of time I'm probably not going to give each time the appropriate amount of thought but, I'll try to do my best. Once again I will be ranking teams on what I saw not on how they did throughout the entire year. So a team may defeat a team but, if I didn't seem that game I will probably not take that game into my consideration of the rankings.

Rankings
1. Wauwatosa East (3)- Well they won the D1 championship. Tosa has seven players that can go off for 15 plus points in any given game. Are a well balanced team that shoots three incredibly well and can score on the inside as well.
2. Madison Memorial (7)- Have Jeronne Maymon who in my opinion is the best player in the state. Are a extremely athletic team that plays a very tough trapping defense that leads to easy fast break baskets.
3. Minnetonka MN (1)- Team full of players in the 6'5-6'7 height range. Shoot the three very well and play some very good defense.
4. Oshkosh West (2)- An extremely tall team that starts two 6'8 guys and a 6'6 player, teammed with two very good guards. Very disciplined team on the offensive side and play great defense.
5. Germantown (1)- Another tall team, that has arguably the best post player in the state in Ben Averkamp. They have one of the best point guards in the state in Rick Bowers and a very good third scoring option in three point sharp shooter Nick Doedens.
6. Waupun (1)- Yes they didn't make state but, they have the best shooting combo in the state in Ryan Rasmussen and Aris Wurtz. Austin Armga is a very good third option that can get his points in a hurry.
7. Janesville Craig (2)- Tall team that can play the slow paced game or can play an uptempo game. Have a shooter and star in Lucas Burns, have a post presence in Jojo Pregont, and have a solid point guard in Cooper Cullen.
8. Waunakee (1)- Very tall team overall, have very good balance, and lots of depth. Disciplined that plays great defense and doesn't lose a thing when they bring their bench players in.
9. Lacrosse Aquinas (4)- Very disciplined team that likes to play an uptempo game. Their top six players are all very capable scorers. They rebound very very well and play some good defense.
10. Madison Lafollette (3)- Cashton Craig and DJ Fuller are both legit bigtime stars and they have found some inside presence on the defensive end. Play good defense as a team and rebound well as a team.
11. Laconia (1)- Kieran Weed is an absolute stud, that can jump out of the gym. Their starting five is as good as anyones in the state. Weed is the star but, Derek Semenas is a very good #2 option.
12. Brookfield Central (2)- Disciplined team that plays good defense and rebounds very well as a team. Cory Degner is a star that will put the team as his back and carry them.
13. Verona (1)- Another discipline team, that really looks to get the ball inside to their star Jason Ziemer. Led by Ziemer they are a very good rebounding team and play very good defense.
14. Eleva Strum (2)- An extremely physically strong team. They rebound the ball very well and play a very tough defense. They have two stars in Lance Rongstad and Jordan Peterson.
15. New Berlin Eisenhower (2)- Have a big time post player in Mike Hojnacki and shoot the ball very very well from the outside.

HM
Lake Geneva Badger (1)
Whitefish Bay Dominican (1)
That's it for honorable mention these teams are just too far ahead of the rest of the pack in my opinion.

1. Wauwatosa East (3)
2. Madison Memorial (7)
3. Oshkosh West (2)
4. Germantown (1)
5. Janesville Craig (2)
6. Waunakee (1)
7. Madison Lafollette (3)
8. Brookfield Central (2)
9. Verona (1)
10. Lake Geneva Badger (1)- Shoot the three ball extremely well, which gives them the ability to beat anyone.

HM
Eau Claire North (1)
Bay Port (1)

Division 2
1. Waupun (1)
2. New Berlin Eisenhower (1)
3. Monroe (1)- Have some very very good guards that can shoot the three ball. Didn't shoot the ball great at state but, that was a rarity.
4. Wisconsin Dells (6)- They were playing great at the end of the year. Guards Jade Royston and Ryan Wenkman were dominating at the end of the year and big man Nate Gibson was finally coming around.
5. Madison Edgewood (1)- Very disciplined team that plays great defense and shoot the three ball very well.
6. Adams Friendship (4)- Tommie Gaston is extremely athletic and does a little bit of everything. Lance Fritz and Ben Pease can really shoot the three.
7. River Valley (1)- Have some great guards that can go off and score big time points and have an athletic big man that can take his defenders outside.
8. Plymouth (1)- They rebounded well and play good defense but, in the game I saw they just couldn't put the ball in the hoop.
9. Reedsburg (1/2)- Tyler Mazur is a real star and Evan Van Cleave is lighting quick that is very tough to stop.
10. Richland Center (1)- Patient team that plays great defense. Bradie Ewing is a bigtime scorer.

Division 3
1. Lacrosse Aquinas (4)
2. Laconia (1)
3. Whitefish Bay Dominican (1)- Team full of extremely athletic guards. Kwamain Mitchell is the second best player in the state.
4. Iola Scandinavia (2)- Mike Griffin is a big time scorer that can go off for 20 points at any time. The entire team can knock down the three point shot.
5. Eau Claire Regis (2)- Team with very good height and plays some very good defense.
6. Marshall (1)- Tall athletic team but, doesn't play the greatest defense.
7. Cuba City (1)- Team that gives 110%. Doesn't have the greatest athleticism but, always gives in their all which will always keep you in games.

Divsion 4
1. Eleva Strum (2)
2. Suring (2)- Josh Regal is a star that can take over a game with his scoring or passing. As a team they shoot the three very well and also rebound very well.
3. Randolph (1)- As usual are a very tall team, that plays good defense and works for good shots.
4. Luck (1)- Athletic team that has some players with good height that can penetrate and get the ball inside.
5. Barneveld (1)- Very patient team, that plays very good defense.
6. Wausau Newman (1/2)- Only on here because I only saw six D4 teams play.

Well theres my final rankings. Within the next two weeks I'll touch base on how my preseason rankings finished off the year and then I'll be doing my final player rankings which may take me some time.
