2017-2018 Preview

Thought I would just do a quick preseason top five for next year for each division. This is without a ton of research and doing in relatively quickly so I'm sure I'll miss someone. Won't be in any particular order

Division One
Stevens Point- Will be going for the four peat and return the bulk of this years championship team. Joey Hauser will go for his fourth title while Drew Blair will go for three.

Sun Prairie- Jalen Johnson will be the top sophomore in the state and senior to be Marlon Ruffin has been improving by leaps and bounds.

Racine Park- A team that really under preformed all year should be back behind a phenomenal junior class.

Bay Port- Lots coming back and they have a ton of size.

Oshkosh North- Undefeated this year and they have their top scorer Tyrese Haliburton back.

Division Two
Kaukauna- Jordan McCabe will hopefully be back along with Eric Carls and big man Dylan Kurey.

Waunakee- State back to back trips and leading scorers from those two teams Mitch Listau and Mason Steffen will be seniors.

Milwaukee Washington- Another state team loaded with talent and their top scorer who will be a junior in Deontay Long.

La Crosse Central- The future looks bright for the champs as the Davis twins have three more years of high school basketball left.

Cedarburg- John Diener carried them to a title game and could very well carry them to a title.

Division Three
Appleton Xavier- State champs bring back their top three scorers. Will be tough to beat.

Waupun- Won state two years ago and Marcus Domask and Owen Theune were starters on that team and will be three year starters.

Whitefish Bay Dominican- Year two of coach Gosz things will turn around and Gacoby Jones will have monster year as the man.

Martin Luther- Lost only three games this year and bring just about everyone back with a very talented junior and sophomore class.

GET- Leading scorers Thompson and Scherr will be back for senior year.

Going to be honest I don't know enough for the two smaller divisions so just gonna mention a few with D4 the Prairie School and also New Glarus. For D5 I really only know of Bangor without doing some serious research.
