Seventh Round State Rankings

Had alot of interesting match ups in the past week as top 10 teams matched up in nearly a dozen different match ups in the past week.

Division One
Appleton East remained undefeated and stays #1 followed by Riverside and King. Riverside lost two games losing to a top team from Chicago and one of the top teams in the country in Hopkins Minnesota. De Pere and Madison Memorial both lost and fall to #7 and #8, benefiting Germantown, Rapids, and Arrowhead who jump them. Racine Case and Marshfield flip flopped with Case winning out and Marshfield dropping their second game of the year. Hamilton lost a tough OT game to King and remain #10. Milwaukee Washington lost two games last year and fall out of HM along with Sheboygan North who lost their third game of the year. Kenosha Bradford and Beloit take their places.

Division Two
Little bit of a shake up at the top of D2 with Monroe and Onalaska both getting their first lose of the season with Monroe falling to my #1 Waunakee and Onalaska to a top 10 team in D3 in Lacrosse Aquinas. Falling to 4 and 5 in the rankings. Rice Lake was the only other top 10 team to lose and they fell to HM while Lacrosse Logan moves to #10.

Division Three
St. Johns lost to an out of state team and remain #1. Everyone else won out in the top 10 and remain the same. In HM Prairie du Chien and Hope School both lost twice and fall out of the rankings. Viroqua lost last week but, hangs on to HM as Kiel makes their first appearance in the rankings.

Division Four
Once again the top 10 was very successful with the only losses coming from Darlington, who lost to Cuba City, and Amherst. Darlington falls to #8 and Amherst to #10. Bonduel and Ozaukee each lost last week and fall out of HM and are replaced by Westby, Wild Rose, Three Lakes, and Colfax. Grantsburg also lost but, hangs on to their HM spot.

Top ten all won out with the exception of EC Immanuel who lost twice and falls to HM and Sheboygan Lutheran who lost to a top D4 team and fall to #9. Luck benefits and jumps to #10. Bayfield and Royal were both HM teams that lost and fall out of the rankings. Laona and Gillmanton take their spots in HM.

Saw some excitement in the two larger divisions with some of the top teams loosing and should continue to some of the same as some of the top teams are in the same division particularly in D1 with the City teams. Should be a fun rest of the season and we are at about the half way point of conference play where you typically see more upsets between common opponents.
