Fifth Round State Team Rankings

Another week has ended which means that it is time for another round of rankings for the state. The last rankings saw alot of changes while this round doesn't seem to show as many.

Division One
Top three remain the same with no one losing this week. Marshfield and Superior were both big losers this week as Marshfield dropped their first game of the year and fall to #9 while Superior lost their second and third games of the year both to out of state teams and drop to HM. Everyone else won out this week and move up. Pulaski lost twice last week and fall out of the rankings all together. Everyone else remains the same

Division Two
Outside of the top four teams in division two their has been alot of shakeups but, this week things have remained fairly similar with one through six all remaining the same. Pewaukee lost their second game of the year and fall to HM while Lacrosse Logan lost their third game of the year and also fall to HM and New Berlin West lost their fourth game and fall out of the rankings as well. Madison Edgewood was missed last week on a mistake by my part being that I thought that they lost to Port Washington a week ago but, in reality they beat Port and then defeated D1 Middleton, so they take the #9 spot as everyone else moves up. Tosa East remains in the top 10 despite having lost four games but, all those games with the exception of one has been to a top 10 team. Honestly there really isn't anyone else that sticks out that could even be ranked HM in D2.

Platteville lost twice last week and fall to HM as does Omro who lost one game last week. Viroqua lost to River Valley but, still hang on to #10 while Dominican leaps them to #9. Mauston lost once and fall further on the HM while Lodi lost twice falling out of the rankings. Spooner is another team to fall out of the rankings after losing twice last week and Ellsworth lost to top 10 D2 New Richmond and fall further in HM. Milwaukee Northwest lost as well and fall out of the rankings.

Well those are my rankings for the fifth round. As you'll noticed the rankings are changing less and less and will probably not change a whole lot more as the season goes on. Debating for next week of adding all one lose teams to the rankings since most of them are ranked already. Particularly with divisions like D2 where all these teams are already ranked.
