D1 and D2 Sectional Predictions

Well this is the second time I've done these predictions. I some how managed to delete everything I had typed the first time around, so I'm now retyping everything.

Middleton Sectional
Madison Memorial over Watertown- Memorial too many athletes for Watertown
Waunakee over Madison Lafollette- Waunakee too much height and too good of defense

Madison Memorial over Waunakee- Once again too many athletes

Elkhorn Sectional
Verona over Elkhorn- Verona wins by pounding it inside to Jason Ziemer
Janesville Craig over Badger- Craig plays great D and is peaking at the right time

Janesville Craig over Verona- Craig has the height and defense to keep Verona out of the inside

Oshkosh Sectional
Sheboygan North over Oshkosh West- West isn't the same team that won back to back championships
Stevens Point over Oshkosh North- Jake Gollon uses versatility to dominate

Sheboygan North over Stevens Point- North has been winning all year long and this game should be no different

Milwaukee #1 Sectional
Germantown over Hamilton Sussex- Germantowns height will just be too much
Milwaukee Vincent over Kettle Moraine- Vincent has too many weapons

Milwaukee Vincent over Germantown- Vincent is just too athletic

Green Bay Sectional
Ashwaubenon over Bay Port- Ash is a little more battle tested
Appleton East over Kaukana- Just too tough to beat a team like East three times

Appleton East over Ashwaubenon- East proves why they were the preseason #1

Racine Horlick Sectional
Racine Horlick over West Allis Hale- Wilson will have a big game
Brookfield Central over Racine Case- BC is a proven team that has been here before

Racine Horlick over Brookfield Central- Wilson will carry Horlick to state

Marshfield Sectional
Eau Claire North over Menomonie- North will use their height advantage to win
Wausau East over Wausau West- Experience gives East the edge

Wausau East over Eau Claire North- Experience and Fischer should take East back to state

Milwaukee #2 Sectional
Milwaukee Washington over Milwaukee King- Washington has already beaten King once and should do it again
Wauwatosa East over Milwaukee Custer- East just has too many weapons for Custer

Milwaukee Washington over Wauwatosa East- 6'8 Washington Center Davis should be the difference in this one


D2 Sectional Predictions

Menomonie Sectional
Spooner over Barron- Spooner was here a year ago and should be able to move on
Adams Friendship over Medford- AF's defense is just too good

Adams Friendship over Spooner- AF's 1-3-1 should carry them to state

Green Bay Sectional
Marinette over Valders- Valders is missing their best player and Marinette is very good
Waupun over Plymouth- Waupun is too good to be beaten three times

Waupun over Marinette- Waupun's three point shooting should carry them to state

Sun Praire Sectional
Monroe over Wisconsin Dells- Monroe has a versatile big man in Cates who should be the difference
East Troy over Madison Edgewood- East Troy's three point shooting will be too much for Edgewood

Monroe over East Troy- Monroe's experience gives them the advantage in this three point shootout

Germantown Sectional
New Berlin Eisenhower over Slinger- Ike is peaking at the right time and should be able to upset Slinger
Brown Deer over Milwaukee North- North is only here because they had a weak regional

Brown Deer over New Berlin Eisenhower- BD has the athletic advantage in this one


There are my predictions. Tomorrow I will be doing the predictions for division three and four sectionals. Should be a great weekend leading up to the state tournament championships.
