Top 10 Dunks

Again update of the top 10 dunks that I've seen this year in person.

1. Kobe King 6'4 senior La Crosse Central vs Waunakee

I'm sure if you follow high school ball at all in Wisconsin you saw this dunk. King caught the ball at the three point drove along the baseline and finished right over the help side Waunakee defender who was rewarded with a blocking foul.

2. Carlos Curtis 6'3 junior Milwaukee Riverside vs Oshkosh North December 29
Was a little unexpected but, was a very nice dunk. Curtis drove baseline from the left side and came back with his right hand to finish a nice powerful dunk.

3. Marlon Ruffin 6'4 junior Sun Prairie vs Middleton January 20

Ruffin had a nice drive baseline and threw down a monster two handed dunk of a Middleton defender.

4. Marlon Ruffin 6'4 junior Sun Prairie vs Madison West December 20
Not as powerful as Curtis but similar in that he came from the left elbow drove the lane in the half court and again finished with the right hand.

5. Brett Ellestad 6'2 senior Oshkosh North vs Milwaukee Riverside December 29
Mostly here because of the surprise of it. Ellestad caught a full court pass off the bounce and was able to grab it in one motion and finish with the dunk.

6. Tyree Eady 6'4 senior Middleton vs Sun Prairie January 20

This had a lot to do with the momentum in the game as Eady picked the ball handlers pocket in open court and threw down a two handed dunk to take the lead in the game.

7. Xzavier Jones 6'5 sophomore Martin Luther vs Brookfield Academy December 29
In the transition Jones's team mate drove baseline and found a cutting Jones who finished at the rim with a nice one handed dunk.

8. Victor Nwagbaraocha 6'4 senior Milwaukee Pius vs La Crosse Central December 29
Nothing too special here but, it was with a lot of power. Break away dunk and he threw it down hard.

9. Nate Carter 6'6 junior Waunakee vs Burlington January 7

Nothing too special but, it was a one step and one dunk. He also converted the free throw.

10. Marlon Ruffin 6'4 junior Sun Prairie vs Janesville Craig January 26

Huge momentum dunk as the game was a two point game at this time. Ruffin stole the ball on a cross over and finished with an authoritative one handed dunk to give Sun Prairie the lead for good.
