Player Rankings

I haven't had much of a chance to post lately but, figured since I'm just sitting home watching football on New Years figured it was time to do a player rankings. With the way things have been going I'm going to have a player ranking today at the mid point and then probably not again until the end of the year. As in the past my rankings will solely be based on the games that I saw a player play this year. For example Diamond Stone is probably one of the better players I saw play this year but, in the game I saw he didn't play very good which will cause him to be lower in the rankings then he should. My overall rankings will be all classes together and players from other states while my rankings by class will solely be players from Wisconsin.

1. Kevon Looney 6'9 senior Milwaukee Hamilton- Really showed that he is a top 10 player nationally. Last year showed all the post moves and this year was money from the outside, which pushed me to truly believe in this kid. Also handles the ball well.
2. LaMonte Bearden 6'3 senior Germantown- Ultra quick player with very quick hands. Superior athlete, that can shoot the three, get to the rim. and set up his team mates. Should of been a high major player.
3. Matt Heldt 6'10 junior Neenah- Love this kids game. One of the best seven footers I've seen play. Has a nice touch around the rim with either hand, moves very well, and blocks shots.
4. Riley LaChance 6'2 senior Brookfield Central- Smooth is the best word to describe him. A true point guard in every aspect. Look to set team mates up early but, late in the game he was taking the shots and you were surprised when the ball didn't go in.
5. Nick Noskowiak 6'3 junior Sun Prairie- Very tough from the outside shooting the three. Has the euro step down and can score in a variety of ways at the rim.
6. Jaylen Key 6'7 junior Homestead- Last year played outside more and showed he could hit the 15 footer. This year showed a great post game with his back to the basket, nearly impossible to stop.
7. Brandon Key 6'0 junior West Allis Central- Another true point guard that can really control the game without having to score. Very smooth like LeChance. Seems to be quick but, is always in control.
8. Marcus White 6'5 senior Milwaukee Vincent- Does a little bit of everything. Whether playing in the post, running the point, or hitting outside shots.
9. David Hamilton 5'9 junior Milwaukee North- Just a flat out scorer with unlimited range. Yes takes too many shots but, he hits a lot too.
10. Brady Ellingson 6'4 senior Sussex Hamilton- Plays off his team mates very well. Struggled in the game I saw but, cuts really well and comes off screens well.
11. Cam Ward 6'2 senior Marshall- When he gets his feet set he's going to knock the shot down. For the most part lets the game come to him.
12. Diamond Stone 6'10 junior Dominican- A beast in the inside. Has a great post game and blocks a ton of shots.
13. Jake Showalter 6'4 senior Germantown- May be the top three point shooter in the state. Gets his feet set so quick that when he gets the ball the shot may be going up.
14. Darral Willis 6'7 senior Madison Memorial- Very athletic player that loves to dunk the ball and block shots.
15. Kyle Haber 6'7 senior Dubuque Senior- A huge point guard that runs the show well and can get in the lane and hit the mid range jumper.
16. Derek Rongstad 6'5 senior Middleton- Great three point shooter and can do a little bit of everything.
17. Devante Jackson 6'9 senior Brown Deer- Big man with a great post game of course but, has a really nice mid range jumper as well.
18. Elijah Goodman 6'5 senior Brookfield Central- Despite his size moves well and played solid defense on Looney. Good rebounder but, can score as well in the post.
19. Tyree Kendricks 6'3 junior Milwaukee Vincent- Another gunner scoring the ball. Has a nice three point shot and takes the ball hard to the rim and can finish.
20. Tyler Lindquist 6'4 senior Madison Memorial- Ultimate competitor. Rebounds very well, scores with his back to the basket and has now added an outside shot.
21. Luke McDonnell 6'9 junior Dubuque Senior- Big man with a nice touch around the rim, blocks shots, and rebounds well.
22. Shareef Smith 5'10 junior Madison Memorial- A decent three point shooter. When he has the ball in his hands is as quick as any one and can really finish in transition.
23. JT Ruffin 6'5 junior Sun Prairie- Another guy that does a little bit of everything can finish at the rim, handle the ball, and shoot from the outside.
24. Jerrod Walton 6'5 senior Homestead- Very athletic player that has added the outside shot to his game.
25. Lewrenzo Byers 5'10 junior Brown Deer- Strong lead guard, that really competes. Streaky shooter from the outside but, takes the ball hard to the rim.
